I found a way to reuse paper grocery bags, by turning them into eco friendly wrapping paper for the items I sell in my Etsy store.

Noah decorates and has a blast, and the wrapping paper comes out quite creative and colorful :o)

I started making all natural/organic tooth fairy pillows.
Here is the first little tooth - friend I just listed in my Etsy shop :o)
There is a pocket on the back to hold the little tooth until the tooth fairy comes to exchange it for a reward ;o)

I finally found time to finish my newest design yesterday. The onsie os 100% organic cotton and the bumble bee applique is made of pure wool felt.

Noah got a spot in the Montessori pre school!

I`m so excited! We were on the waiting list for one of the rare Montessori pre schools in the area ... and yesterday we got THAT phone call :o)
They have a spot open for Noah, he can start Agust 3rd!
I am also somewhat nervous since Noah has never been away from me for more than 2 hours (and then he was with his Papi). He will only go twice a week for now, from 8 am until 3 pm.
I am so happy that we can make the dream of an "alternative" pre school come true :o). I am a big fan of both, the Waldorf and the Montessori concept, and I was desperately looking for one of these pre schools when we moved to MS in March.
My little boy is growing up ... sigh ;o)
Now we need to find a cheap used second car, so Mama can bring Noey to school ... wish me luck!

A very wonderful morning to everyone!
It sure is a special morning to my Noey and me, because last night Josh (hubby) came back from a 5 week long trip to the UK.
Being a "Military child", there are many good bye`s in Noey`s life, and it breakes my heart to see how he is always missing someone ... his friends in Hawaii, his Omi in Texas, Opi in Germany , his Papi who had to leave yet again ...
The look on his face when he climed in our bed this morning, to find his Papi sleeping in there was just priceless :o).
Now I`m sitting here, sipping on my coffee and listening to a very happy Noey and Papi giggeling and playing in the living room ... life is good :o)

Being fairly new to this whole business, I am not really experienced when it comes to promoting a product.
I already started a flickr account, twitter, and try my best to blog here on a regular basis to "get my stuff out there".
Question to all my fellow etsy sellers: what do you do to promote your store?

I started making cute little hair clips a while ago ... and I had my friends daughter model them for my shop.

My Noey kept asking me to put some in his hair too and take pictures ... Well, I just couldn`t resist the sweet curls any longer :o)

I`m Mama to a wonderful 3 1/2 year old little guy named Noah and married to Joshua since 2006.
